Club One Fitness Rock on the Green (ROTG) presented by Barney & Barney is a Spinning® adventure and 2k and 5k run that will amaze and inspire you! More than 200 Spinning® bikes and Krankcycles® fill the majestic Marina Green overlooking the San Francisco Bay and Golden Gate Bridge. The three-hour ride features choreographed cycling sessions led by top instructors from Club One and the 5k is along one of the most scenic routes in California.
Heralded as a memorable day of fitness in the "City by the Bay," ROTG includes an exciting vendor expo, challenged athlete sports demonstrations, moving presentations and contagious energy.
One of the most unique athletic events held in the Bay Area that transforms the Marina Green into an outdoor sports club and rock concert. Rock on the Green is a high energy and personally rewarding experience. Participants receive VIP treatment as they are pushed to meet their goals!
-Special guest instructors including Johnny G -- the creator of Spinning® & Kranking®.
-A fast and flat 5k featuring chip timing and a scenic route on the sidewalks and running paths in the shadow of the Golden Gate bridge. A 2k run/walk option and a wheelchair friendly route allows participation for all.
-Held in one of the most scenic locations in California...San Francisco's Marina Green overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge.
-Challenged athletes participate using adaptive equipment including Krankcycles and a rock climbing wall apparatus.
-A festival and expo area create the perfect setting for family, friends and community supporters to enjoy fitness demonstrations and learn about the latest in exercise, nutrition and gear.
-All spinners and runners enjoy an inspirational pre-event ceremony to kick off the day, as well as the opportunity to participate beside and meet many of the challenged athletes supported by CAF.
Funds raised at Rock on the Green benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF). CAF raises money to help people with physical challenges pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and athletics. CAF's mission is clear: give those with the desire to live active, competitive lifestyles every opportunity to compete in the sports they love.
